Chapter II
Craftsmanship & Provenance
A piece from Maison Verre carries the signatures of its makers, its origins, and the unhurried time in which it was made.

I. The Atelier
Hands that remember
Our master artisans in Paris have, on average, twenty-six years with the Maison. Their hands remember the stitching, the burnishing, the precise tension of a hand-stitched saddle stitch — knowledge that cannot be downloaded.
Each piece passes through eleven stations and four pairs of hands before it is signed and released. The time is not shortened. It cannot be.

II. The Materials
Sourced in person
Our leather is selected at the tanneries of Annonay and the silk from a single family-run mill in Lyon. Stones are hand-cut by a third-generation lapidary in Idar-Oberstein. Every origin is known, named, and traceable to a place and a person.
When a material cannot meet our standard, the piece is not made. We have, on principle, declined to produce certain best-sellers rather than compromise.
